About Anushka

Hi, I’m a second-year Law and Politics student at Cardiff University (a Russell Group uni), and I’m passionate about making complex subjects more approachable. I am interested in a career at the Bar. I understand that Law and Politics can be challenging, especially with all the theories, case laws, and critical essays. I’ve been there myself — struggling to connect the dots or find the right approach to an assignment. That’s why I’m here to help. I believe learning should be engaging, interactive, and, most importantly, stress-free. My teaching focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into simpler, digestible pieces, using real-world examples and discussions. I’ll help you not only understand the subject but also build confidence in your writing, exam techniques, and critical thinking. My aim is to make sure you feel more prepared and less overwhelmed as you work towards your academic goals. Whether you're struggling with essay writing, revision strategies, or understanding core theories in Law and Politics, I’m here to support you. Let’s work together to get you into your dream uni!

Hi! I’m a second-year Law and Politics student at Cardiff University, a prestigious Russell Group university. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, application tips into universities or just trying to pass a tough module, I’m here to help. Teaching Methodology My approach is friendly, student-focused, and practical. I tailor each session to the student's needs — whether that's improving essay structure, understanding tricky legal principles, or revising political theories. I focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and strong academic writing skills. I often use real-world examples, past papers, and interactive discussion to make lessons engaging. I also provide written feedback, tips, and study resources when needed. ️Lesson Format - Typical length: 50 minutes - Platform: Online (Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet) - Extras: Optional review materials, essay feedback, or short quizzes Qualifications & Experience - 1st class in Year 1 at Cardiff University - Strong academic record in essay-based subjects - Experience mentoring peers and reviewing essays - Clear communicator and reliable tutor — I know how stressful studying can be, and I aim to make it feel less overwhelming - Active committee member of student societies, working closely with the School of Law and Politics I tutor: - GCSE and A-Level students (Law, Politics, or relevant subjects including essay-heavy subjects) - University applicants preparing for Law or Politics degrees - Students looking to improve academic writing, essay planning, or revision strategies No prior experience is needed — I work with all levels and adapt to each student’s learning style.
