I currently teach 7 students in their homes and have previously taught students on-line.

About the lesson

I love working with children and helping them to make progress and achieve, using a structured progressive approach that is individual and fun - including interactive activities, games, reading activities and spelling activities.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach children with literacy difficulties - dyslexia in particular. I teach phonics, spelling, punctuation, reading, grammar and study skills.

I also teach English as a second language. I teach privately and on-line.

BA Honours in Integrated Childhood Studies
Early Years Professional Status
Certificate in Education (post 16)
Diploma in Dyslexia (Distinction)
Diploma in Home Tutoring and Shadow Education (Distinction)
TEFL Teaching English as a Second Language (Distinction)

- How much do you charge?

£25.00 per hour
£15 per half hour - live-Skype lessons
I give a discount for lessons booked on block of 10% with payment in advance.

- Where do you teach?

I teach in children's homes, in my on home or live, on-line, via Skype.

- When are you available?

Available in the day times (except Thursday mornings).

From 5 years upwards.

I do not teach for qualifications, but help young people to achieve them.

On-line tutoring two options - via Skype. I can teach children and youth who struggle with literacy and I can teach children, youth or adults with English as a second language. Contact me for details.
