About Saini
Hi, I’m Saini—and if there’s one subject that has stayed with me through every phase of life, it’s Geography. I’ve loved geography for as long as I can remember. It was never just a subject to study—it was a window into how the world moves, breathes, and connects. I scored above 90% in Geography in both Class 10 and 12, not because I had to, but because I genuinely enjoyed it. I was the kind of student who didn’t just memorize maps—I imagined what life looked like in those places. That passion stayed with me. It inspired me to travel, to explore the length and breadth of India, and to collect stories and flavors from every region I could reach. From the street food stalls of Indore to the coastal kitchens of Kochi, every bite has taught me something about the land, the people, and the climate. Professionally, I work as a sports manager, which allows me to travel frequently and observe the geographical, cultural, and urban diversity of cities firsthand. I also hold a Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Jadavpur University, which has helped me craft compelling narratives around every place I visit. I’m also a reader at heart—I love books that take me places, explain the ‘why’ behind a city’s layout, or describe the migration of flavors across borders. My goal as a teacher is to bring that same sense of curiosity, connection, and wonder to my classes. If you’re someone who wants to fall in love with geography the way I did—through real stories, travel tales, food trails, and interactive learning—I’d love to teach you. Let’s explore the world, one map, one meal, and one story at a time.

As a teacher, I don’t believe in memorizing names on a map—I believe in making places feel alive. With a background in Journalism from Jadavpur University and a profession that takes me across Indian cities as a sports manager, I’ve developed a method where geography isn’t taught—it’s experienced.
My Teaching Techniques & Methods:
Storytelling First: Every class begins with a real-life anecdote from a city I’ve worked in—maybe a stadium near a riverbank or a cuisine shaped by local climate.
Food as a Lens: We explore how geography influences food—why certain spices thrive in some regions, or how trade routes introduced new dishes to India.
Interactive Mapping: Students create their own “passport maps,” tracking what they’ve learned, seen, and tasted.
Visual Learning: I use city videos, satellite views, pop culture, and Google Earth to bring abstract concepts to life.
Current Connections: I link geography to headlines—climate change, migration, urban floods—so students can see why it matters.
Class Structure:
Warm-Up (5–10 mins): Ice-breaker or real-world puzzle (e.g., “Guess why Rajasthan eats spicy but drinks buttermilk”).
Main Lesson (30 mins): Core topic taught using stories, maps, videos, and questions.
Food for Thought (10 mins): A mini case study on local dishes and how they relate to geography.
Wrap-Up (10 mins): Recap, student questions, and weekly “passport activity” to reflect on what was learned.
What Makes Me Different:
I’m not just a teacher—I’m a traveler, sports manager, and storyteller.
My exposure to 20+ Indian cities gives me first-hand insight into regional geographies, cultures, and cuisines.
I make boring chapters relatable and tasty—even your least favorite topic can feel like a road trip.
I support students beyond class with custom reading lists, articles, videos, and discussion spaces.
Who Are These Classes For?
School students (Grades 6–12) struggling with textbook geography
Adults and travel lovers curious about India’s geography, cultures, and food histories
No prior knowledge required—just curiosity!
