About Shreya
I'm an electrical engineer who grew up in a very musical family, thus started learning Kathak at the tender age of 3. I have professionally trained in Kathak for 15 years and am a National Scholarship holder as well. I have performed in numerous stage shows and won many prizes and medals in dance. Though I am an engineer by profession, I shall always remain a dancer at heart and I never want this passion for music and dance to die out. Dance, especially Kathak, is a 'Source of Satva' for me and I want people to learn more about the forlorn treasure of Indian classical music and dance.

I'm an electrical engineer with an excellent academic record who managed to fulfil her dream of learning Kathak. I know how competitive the world out there is and thus I make every effort to mould the class in order to make it easy for anyone who joins me in their dance journey. Key is to start simple and adapt gradually. Kathak, though a classical dance form, is very natural in its movements. I start from the very basic building blocks eventually moving up the ladder of difficulty.
