About Joshua
Originally from California, I studied history at UCSB and CSU Pomona, earning a bachelor's and master's (respectively). I then worked with the Los Angeles Workers' center to collect oral histories for the UCLA Oral History center. Since moving to the Midwest I have focused primarily on my research of radical labor and political activism during the 1920s & 30s; culminating in the publication of my book The Many Worlds of American Communism in 2022.
