I met Mittal during her phD in Italy. She is a friendly person to talk about many interesting topics. She is an amazing teacher!
Although I was not a native speaker it was easy for me to learn and improve my speaking. He has a lot of patience and makes you feel comfortable.

Mittal and I have been colleagues for approximately 4 years by now. During these years she has always been very generous with her time, helping me on several aspects of Sanskrit grammar. She stands out for her ability to combine mastery of Sanskrit grammar with deep knowledge of the problems associated with traditional and modern-day approaches to language teaching, as witnessed by her remarkable research experience, including her Ph.D. dissertation and publications. This contributes to her teaching being high-quality, well-structured, effective. However, what impressed me most about Mittal is her empathy, which allows her to connect with her interlocutors (be they students, colleagues, or professors). All in all, learning from her is not only a very rewarding experience, but a lot of fun as well. I definitely recommend her to the other Superprof members!
