About Joy
My name is Joy, 27 years old and an independent, graduated (child) psychologist. Currently I work as an independent child coach. I focus on coaching children at school in subjects such as arithmetic, language and reading. The school counseling is intended for children of primary school age and can focus on:
- Spelling
- Vocabulary
- Technical reading
- Reading comprehension
I gained my knowledge and experience in my years working as a child and adolescent psychologist, guiding children with dyslexia and dyscalculia. I also currently coach children with autism or ADHD in both arithmetic and language

My method of teaching is to let my pupil think for themselves as much as possible when solving sums and assignments. When the pupil gets stuck, I will help him or her on their way in a calm and clear way. It goes without saying that every student is different and every student has different needs. That is why each guidance will be different and adapted to the needs of the pupil.
I find it very important not only to provide professional guidance, but also to pay attention to any uncertainty.
Finally, I am available via WhatsApp for when there are questions outside of class.

Deadly! We zijn enorm blij met Joy! Ze reageert snel en dankzij haar beginnen onze dochters met dyscalculie het rekenen te begrijpen. Ze gaan graag naar de bijlessen en zullen nu ook Nederlandse les gaan volgen.
