About Nethra

Hi! I’m Nethra, a Master's student at Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University, New York. I have a strong academic background in History, Political Science, Philosophy, and I love helping students make sense of complex ideas by connecting them to real-world contexts. I know how cumbersome reading classic texts can be, and I would love to help un-jumble the meaning of it with you. Whether you're tackling essays, preparing for exams, or just want to improve your analytical skills, I’m here to help!

About the lesson

Intended for high school and college-level students. I try to allow my students to learn through visual associative mediums such as flowcharts, maps and videos. A typical structure would be to introduce the theory/ philosopher and associate their theories with contemporary issues, as well as historically significant ones.

What sets me apart is my international knowledge - living in 3 countries over 3 years - India, France and the United States. This has provided me with multiple perspectives, allowing me to avoid traditional biases in historical studies.
