A strategic, accomplished, and certified educator, offering 20+ years of significant experience in classroom administration, tailoring and delivering engaging lessons to students from diverse backgrounds who want to boost their confidence and grades.
My lessons are designed to boost memory but most importantly to provide learners with the mechanics of learning. Students will be equipped with the tools, techniques and tips to help them achieve their target goals.
I base my planning on considering all of my students as individuals with very different learning styles. Some students are deep thinkers whereas others just have the ability to recall information without necessarily understanding it.
By recognising this variation within my students I can understand how best they can acquire knowledge and skills and adapt my teaching style to meet their needs. At the same time, I am constantly monitoring students’ progress and providing extra support when they fall behind with the aim of ensuring all the students achieve their potential.
I have successfully employed an active learning approach
when teaching and found that this led to many student positive learning outcomes such as, helping learners to become more critical thinkers and independent learners.
