About Rosie
I am a second-year Politics and International Relations student at Durham University offering online Edexcel A-Level Politics tuition. Having achieved an A in A-Level Politics in 2025, I understand the skills needed to achieve high grades.
My main focus is exam technique and essay writing skills. I help students improve their essay structure and understand what examiners are looking for in high-scoring answers. Through essay feedback, exam practice, and mark scheme analysis, I help students turn their knowledge into stronger exam performance.
Alongside my A-levels, I have competed as a Team GB athlete, giving me experience in setting goals and managing competing commitments. I use this experience to help students improve their organisation, and develop effective study habits.
I have also supported students in Maths and History and aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, improving their confidence, and making progress towards their goals.

My lessons focus on developing the skills needed to succeed in Edexcel A-Level Politics. I help students improve their essay writing, argument structure, evaluation, and ability to apply political knowledge effectively in exam questions.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's current level. We can focus on improving specific topics, practising exam questions, analysing mark schemes, or developing the techniques needed to achieve higher grades. I use past papers, examiner expectations, and students’ own essays to identify areas for improvement and help them understand how to make their answers stronger. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but longer sessions can be arranged where needed, particularly during exam periods. Lessons are suitable for Edexcel A-Level Politics students of all abilities, whether you are looking to build confidence, improve your exam technique, or push towards the highest grades.
