About Aishwarya

What sets me apart from other tutors is the time I invest in my students outside of our scheduled lessons. I design tailor-made learning plans for every student, creating custom resources to support our lessons. I mark work outside of lesson time at no extra charge, so pupils can expect to receive detailed feedback routinely, without additional fees (the only exception to this would be an unusually large piece of work with a tight deadline - otherwise, all marking is included). If desired, I can set personalised homework tasks to reinforce progress between lessons. I also pride myself on my revision resources for my exam-year students!

After meeting a student and scheduling the first lesson, I map out 3-5 lessons of learning in advance. Every lesson is a purposeful building block, contributing to a long-term goal that we establish together. Each lesson is different. What is consistent, however, is my approach to teaching. I believe collaborative learning is the most effective path to progress. When pupils are left to work through endless tasks alone, there is little space for discussion and exploration, which are vital for confidence-building. Conversation is a central component of my teaching style: we will analyse ideas together, discuss our interpretations, and develop written responses. Not only does this shoulder understanding, but keeps lessons engaging. With the right support, every student can make meaningful progress, and I look forward to helping them get there.

About the lesson

Hi there, I'm Aishwarya, a second year law student at LSE. I did my A levels from St. Olave's Grammar School with 3 A* in English Literature, Geography. Education is at the front and centre of everything I do.

I adore my studies and being part of a student's educational journey, whatever their unique end goal may be. I've started tutoring offline for the last 1+ year with pupils aged 10-16. At the core of my approach is a dedication to building each student's confidence through interactive and engaging lessons catered to each student's needs. We will work on tasks together, whether it be closely analysing a fiction extract, planning an essay discussion, or writing our own creative pieces.

I'm flexible and work over the weekends. Currently, I'm on my summer holiday and can work all through the week
