About Harriet
I am a 19-year-old UCL 2nd year student studying Classics and the ancient world. I attended Lancing College for 5 years before, and have a true passion for classics and education. I am training to become a teacher at a 6th form college, and have 5 years' experience in education. I'm outgoing, fun, and not strict! I'm here to help with whatever you need.

My lessons are typically an hour long, but other lengths can be arranged. I offer a complimentary taster session, where we can discuss your specific goals and what you hope to achieve from the sessions. Classics can be difficult to understand, and one of my strongest methods for not only remembering all the tough information, but having a full understanding of it (as you won't remember it if you can't grasp it...!) is breaking it down, allowing you to ask "why" to any parts. Once it starts to look less scary, you can then build it back up, applying more complex ideas, which is what gets you into the top bands in the mark scheme. I think it's essential to have someone you can ask anything to, rather than relying on one textbook, or worse, AI... I am training to become a teacher and have 5 years of experience working in education. I also have 2 years of experience studying classics at UCL, so I can help you reach those top marks with extra information you won't find on the mark scheme. I aim my lessons to GCSE and A-level students, but also for general interest.
