About the lesson

I tailor my approach based on each student’s learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. - Interactive Learning – I use discussions, real-world examples, and case studies (especially for IB Business) to make lessons more engaging and applicable. - Exam-Focused Strategies – For IB, I emphasise command terms, structuring essays, and time management techniques to maximise marks. - Active Student Participation – I encourage students to analyse texts critically (for English) and apply business theories to real-life scenarios. - Progress Tracking – I set goals, review past mistakes, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Typical lesson length: 60-90 minutes. My studies give me strong analytical and writing skills applicable to IB English and Business. I also took both subjects myself as an IB student at Higher Level and also had a tutor of my own back then. I understand IB assessment criteria and expectations, enabling me to provide targeted support.
