About Claire
I have not worked as a paid tutor before. However, I have always volunteered to help teach English classes throughout Primary and Secondary school. I have also worked at a school in Wales over the holidays as a teaching assistant. Further in sixth form, I was nominated as the Language Rep of my boarding house and my role was to help improve my fellow housemate's command of the English language.

My strongest subjects throughout school were English language and English literature. I have a deep passion for English and I believe in addition to my teaching methods, it is my genuine passion for the subject that makes my lessons different from others. I have had to study for English exams all my life, most recently attaining the highest grade of a 7 in my Higher Level English Literature International Baccalaureate (IB) exams. I have a number of methods to successfully score well in exams which I have developed from years of being an English student.
