Building off the premise of my lessons, I aim to inspire individuality within the ideas of my students, aligning with the authentic potential through language and literature. Alongside this, I want to ensure my students have confidence within their ideas as well as within their application to exam technique and structure.

My qualifications in English are grade 7's in both GCSE English Literature and Language as well as a B grade in A-Level. My typical length of a lesson would be 45 minutes minimum so there is enough time to achieve and practice my main methodology. This consists of deep interactive discussion between me and the student regarding every aspect of the specific topic at hand. Such as, character development, authorial context, analytical tools ect. As English is a very subjective subject, the more well-versed the student feels on the subject, the more confident they'll feel in their ideas in order to tackle questions. Therefore, forming a solid and unique argument coming from the students own perspective. I believe this to be a key part of English across the academic board.
