About Claire
I am a naturally curious person so as a child always asked ‘Why?’, a lot! I survived in mainstream classrooms but thrived learning by myself at home. I am dyslexic and found I wanted to understand my brain and the wonder of humanity so specialised in History, Psychology, Classics and Mental Health. I never wanted students to struggle to learn at school the way I had so believe learning is a partnership where I help you achieve your learning goals and cheer you on.

I love my subjects of History, Psychology and Classics. I am creative, empathetic and enthusiastic. I like my students to ask questions and learn through discussion and curiosity. I will help you love learning. I personally hated school as a student and have tried to become the teacher I needed but didn’t have. I hour sessions offered and block bookings, KS3, GCSE & A Level.
