About Soleil

I’ve been self-employed for several years. I only choose contracts that inspire me and I’m excited about. I apply the same mentality to my tutoring. Helping people is incredibly rewarding. While I’ve worked a lot in the corporate world, it’s the people themselves that were interesting. Translating a book or correcting the cards of a game someone created is far more enjoyable than wringing contracts and seeing a student understand something for the first time is equal if not best! That’s why I’m going back to tutoring. It’s not about the big money you can make with professionals. It’s about students becoming their best self without having to grind against everything the way I had to. The system wasn’t made to teach to people like me and now that I can, I want to give back.

About the lesson

I’m a very easy-going person. I love to adapt my teachings to my students and mostly think outside the box ! I have ADHD since elementary school, I know a couple tricks to make learning fun and easier. No more times you feel like you can’t grasp concepts others can “easily”. There’s no wrong questions and sometimes, the way we learn is just not the way that fits with how our brain is wired. A teacher may not be able to personalize teaching in class but a tutor can ! I’m also a writer who’s in love with the French language, so to me it’s more about sharing a passion and helping other find something they can thrive in, even if it’s a difficult task. If you understand what you do, the results will follow :)
