About Dave
For 20 years I was an English teacher who wanted to be a writer. Now I'm a writer who also teaches. Having self-published my own work and advised hundreds of students from all over the world, I have a wealth of experience of all the problems writers face - characterisation, plot development, narrative voice, and so on.

For example, when a passage you've written just isn't working and you can't figure out why not, I can look with fresh eyes and see the problem.
