About Madison
I have taught myself everything I know about animation since I first started when I was five years old. I have been almost exclusively animating in 3D since I was nine, and with Blender specifically since fourteen. Currently, I work with a team of seven voice actors to create 3 to 5 minute long animated shorts on YouTube for my channel, which currently has over 11K subscribers.

I believe that the best way to learn animation is simply to start animating. Practical, hands-on experience is far more valuable than any amount of note-taking could be. You don't even need to know how to model anything (but it certainly helps!). If you've never animated before, then I would start you off with my first project, which was spheres, cubes, and cylinders floating around a cone. From there, you can learn to create anything.
