About Thys
My name is Thys. I decided to learn isiZulu during 2012 so that I am not excluded from conversations. I now start conversations with people because they don't expect a white person ("mlungu") to speak the language. I am now busy with learning both seSotho and xiTsonga!

I am a native English and Afrikaans speaker. I will use this to assist in the delivery of lessons, and to help the student to understand and grasp the concepts. Written isiZulu will also be covered. Cultural backstory will also be given to help the student!
