About Patrick
I am a 21 year old patient computer science enthusiast with a hobby of learning languages. I learned Spanish in between my computer science course on my own through talking with strangers and several Duolingo lessons. A few months after starting, my vocabulary and speaking abilities improved to allow me to have basic conversations. 7 months after starting, I was able to have more fluent conversations, and I had adapted to the natural tempo of the language. A year after starting, I was able to express myself more naturally and I was almost always able to understand everything native speakers were saying.
