About Zoe
Hi! I'm Zoe, a student-athlete attending Swarthmore College this fall. On the ACT, I got a score of 36 in English and 35 in the Reading categories, and I have a 4.0 GPA. I got 5's on all my AP tests my junior year (BC Calc, Chemistry, Biology, and US History), proving my ability to work accurately with difficult material. I am familiar with newer material used in schools since I am graduating soon and on standardized tests since I took them not too long ago!

Teaching Methods:
By asking guiding questions, students will develop critical thinking skills and cultivate a deep, lasting understanding of materials. We will also work through problems together, breaking them down into manageable steps.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
The first step is understanding the student's needs. So first, they'll bring in any work they need help with (homework, essays, projects, concepts they find difficult). Then, we will clarify goals for the session (ie. mastering a concept, refining a paper). To approach understanding, I will help a student break down their task by identifying key concepts and skills required. Additionally, we will work through examples together, tackling them from different angles. To wrap up a session, we will summarize key takeaways.
