About Una
I have a PhD in Renaissance Studies and have written two books on French history. I have 14 years' experience teaching French, English, Literature, and History at the university level, at the Universities of Melbourne, Sydney, Kent, and Queen Mary University of London. I'm fluent in French, having lived in France, and can help you with your pronunciation. I'm also a stickler for beautiful written expression, so I can help you with grammar even if you don't know the first thing about it! My classes are relaxed and friendly, and we work on exactly the areas you need help with.

I teach French at secondary level including VCE, undergrad and postgrad. I assess each student to work out where they need the most help, usually helping students in the areas of oral presentation, pronunciation and grammar. I am well versed in the VCE curriculum and can help with SAC and exam prep. As a fluent French speaker, I can help with oral presentations, listening comprehension, and writing. I can also help undergraduates with conventions of essay writing with which they may be unfamiliar, such as research, footnoting, and bibliographies. I'm very experienced, patient and friendly with students of all abilities - I want you to enjoy these subjects as much as I do! Lessons are typically one hour.
