About Callie
Spanish has always been a passion of mine from a young age. I started taking Spanish classes in 7th grade and now I am a double major in International Business and Spanish at Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am also Cooper Center Verified for tutoring through the University. I strive to make tutoring sessions exciting and inspirational by creating meaningful relationships with my tutees.

My tutoring method consists of relatability, patience, positive reinforcement, and direct feedback. For the first tutoring session, the goal is to learn about the tutee and what their strengths, weaknesses, and goals are for their class. If the tutee is simply wanting to enhance their Spanish speaking abilities, I am able to create lesson plans or do a conversation hour with them. If they need assistance on an assignment or a conjugation, I will go through a step by step process on how the topic can be memorized best. I aspire to make the tutoring experience exciting and fun instead of a chore. I genuinely want to get to know my tutees on a personal level and to understand how they process things. I am able to tutor elementary, middle school, and college level Spanish or any age that is willing to learn!
