About Yash
Hi, I'm Yash, a Frontend Software Engineer based in Manchester with over 4 years of commercial experience building real-world web applications. Alongside my software engineering career, I've been teaching programming and helping students develop practical coding skills through one-to-one mentoring and hands-on projects.
I genuinely enjoy teaching because I know how challenging programming can feel at the beginning. My goal is to make complex topics simple, build your confidence, and help you become an independent problem solver rather than someone who just copies code.
Whether you're preparing for exams, starting your programming journey, building personal projects, or getting ready for technical interviews, I'll tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style. Seeing my students grow in confidence and succeed is the most rewarding part of teaching.

I’m a Frontend Software Engineer with over 4 years of industry experience and an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Leicester. Alongside my software engineering career, I’ve worked as an IT tutor, helping students of different ages build confidence in programming and problem-solving.
My lessons are practical, interactive and tailored to your current level, whether you're a complete beginner, a university student or someone looking to improve your coding skills. I focus on helping you understand concepts rather than memorising code, using real projects and hands-on exercises.
I teach JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML, CSS and modern web development, while also helping with debugging, assignments, interview preparation and personal projects. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and always adapted to your learning goals and pace.
