About Marie-Claire
I'm a full time software engineer with 7 years of experience in java, springboot, sql, and postgresql. I am a part time physics student at University of New Orleans and have a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Tulane University. Math is my favorite subject and I've taken all the calculuses and differential equations--I plan to take linear algebra in the summer.

First, I'll ask you if there's anything specific you need or need me to know about your learning style, then we will figure out what to focus on together. For programming lessons, we'll pair program, and I will have you drive while I suggest tools and approaches that are most used in the industry. As we pair, I can deep dive into why the code is performing in the way it is, best practices, and the theory behind the coding language we're using. If you have homework, we will go through sudo code first and capture the logical elements of the problem, then transform that into code!
For math lessons, I will break down any problems you're facing into parts and we will find the part that is the sticking point for you. From there, we will work on that skill and then integrate it back into solving the entire problem.
