About Beatrice
"Have you ever wondered if the violin could sound like a human voice? Teaching is rooted in oral tradition for me, where tunes are learned by listening and ornamentation by imitation. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance from East Tennessee State University, I carry an approach refined over 13 years.
My practice has reached 400 students including kids and advanced learners. Proficiency in bowing technique, intonation, music theory, double stops, and rhythm is essential. I also cover shifting positions, scales and arpeggios, left hand agility, and sight reading. Working with performance-focused students and returning learners remains a primary interest.
My teaching style is kind, unhurried, and session-fluent. Feel free to reach out if you would like to explore this method together."
