My journey has instilled in me a deep curiosity and perseverance, which I bring to every challenge. I can read sheet music. I can improvise and have a few tricks that have helped me over the years. As a tutor, I blend creativity and precision, ensuring that my teaching approach is both engaging and effective. I’m committed to helping my students grow, inspiring confidence through personalized lessons that cater to their unique needs. I’m a patient and attentive. I love teaching new things to others. If you are a beginner or intermediate level, we can create a custom plan that you are comfortable with.

Jay is hands down the best piano teacher ever! I mean, I’m deaf, so I thought playing piano was about as likely as me becoming an astronaut. But Jay? He’s got the patience of a saint and somehow turned me into a piano player! He taught me to feel the music—literally—and didn’t even flinch when I asked if pianos came with subtitles. If this guy can teach me, he can teach anyone (yes, even you). Highly recommend him—10/10, would bang on the keys again!
