About Shantiay
Performing for 12 years has been the most intense education a person can receive. Honestly, I still get nervous before a big stage show. My background as a self-taught songwriter helps me relate to students who are just finding their sound. I enjoy seeing students progress from shaky beginners to confident singers who know how to work a microphone.
We cover everything from vibrato control and pitch to the essential warm-up exercises. I provide specific guidance on head and chest voice, along with genre styling for pop, classical, or musical theater. It is genuinely enjoyable to watch someone find the harmony singing skills they did not know they had.

Starting the first session is just a conversation, really. We talk about where you want your voice to go, and I record warm-up routines for you to use at home. I use my professional background to help you build performance confidence through practical, daily habits. Sight singing might seem intimidating, but I break it down into manageable chunks using the techniques I used on the LA circuit.
Because I share those recorded routines, you have a partner for your daily practice. I really love helping singers discover the power hidden in their own breath.
