About Ggreg
I'm a trained actor who began this journey in 1979 and has never looked back. I have done regional theatre and performed on stages in L.A. for many years. I am an actor and singer who dances a little (and it was not easy to learn that much dancing.) I also have a background in improvisation and comedy writing, and I have released 4 albums of my music on various platforms.

People who don't like musicals often ask "Why would someone just start singing spontaneously for no reason?That never happens in real life." Whomever makes this statement doesn't run with the same crowd that I do, that's for sure. However, if one is watching a musical and the singing has a definitive break from the acting, then they're right. That's not how it's supposed to be done. The transition from dialogue to song should be so natural that either then audience doesn't notice it, or couldn't imagine the character expressing themself any other way. That's where I want to take actors.
This class is for actors of any level; however, you should have some Broadway songs learned by heart before we start.
