About Katy
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and have 10 years of experience teaching singing to students of different ages and skill levels. My passion for singing began with a deep interest in music and expression, which later developed into a strong commitment to teaching. I believe that every voice is unique and can be improved with the right guidance and consistent practice. My teaching style focuses on encouragement, clarity, and confidence building.
I adapt my lessons based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners are guided step by step to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving technique and expression. Advanced students focus on performance skills and deeper musical understanding. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving steadily.
Outside of teaching, I continue practicing and exploring different music styles to improve my own skills. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them engaging. Helping learners grow in confidence and express themselves freely through singing is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

My singing lessons are designed to help students develop a strong and controlled voice while also encouraging expressive and confident performance. I focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, tone quality, vocal placement, and phrasing so students can understand how to use their voice effectively. Lessons include vocal exercises, guided song practice, and listening activities that support steady improvement. I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voice and improving step by step.
Lessons are carefully structured based on each student’s level and personal goals. Beginners start with breathing exercises, pitch matching, and simple songs to build confidence and comfort. Intermediate learners focus on expanding vocal range, improving tone quality, and developing better expression. Advanced students work on performance techniques, emotional delivery, and mastering more complex songs. Each session includes structured practice, guided exercises, and detailed feedback to ensure steady and meaningful progress.
The goal of my singing lessons is to help students become confident and expressive singers who enjoy using their voice. They learn to control their sound, connect with music, and perform with clarity and emotion. Lessons are designed to balance technical training with creative expression, helping students grow both skill and confidence over time.
