About Margrét
Hi, my name is Margrét, and I am passionate about helping people develop their voices in a safe, effective and inspiring way. Through more than 25 years as a singer and over 18 years as a singing teacher, I have seen how the right guidance can provide both increased self-confidence, better technique and greater singing joy. My background as an internationally performing singer has given me first-hand knowledge of the possibilities and challenges of the voice, both on stage and in everyday life. I teach because I love seeing people develop, reach their goals and discover their own unique expression. Whether you want to start singing, further develop your technique, prepare for an audition or become more confident in the use of your voice, I meet you where you are and adapt the teaching to your needs. My goal is not to shape your voice according to a specific template, but to help you find your own natural, healthy and authentic voice.

I offer individual singing lessons and vocal coaching for youth and adults at all levels – from beginners to professional singers, as well as other professional voice users such as teachers, actors, speakers and presenters. The lessons are based on healthy, anatomy-based vocal technique and are adapted to each student's goals, experience and musical preferences. I teach classical singing, pop, jazz, musicals and other rhythmic genres, with a focus on developing a free, strong and sustainable voice. With a master's degree from the Norwegian Academy of Music, extensive international experience as a performing singer and over 18 years of experience as a singing teacher, vocal coach and voice therapist, I combine artistic quality with solid professional knowledge. The lessons usually last 60 minutes and are conducted online. I work with everything from basic singing technique, breathing and support to interpretation, stage presentation, audition preparations and healthy voice use in everyday life and work.
