About Talia
Interaction with foreign students comes naturally, because of my multicultural and multilingual skills which include competency in English, Spanish, and Hebrew. In the last few years, I have specifically taught E.S.L. to second language learners. We focused on English pronunciation, reading, and essay writing during our lessons. In addition, I studied at U.C. Irvine Extension’s T.E.S.L. program, having delivered my expertise in the classroom via this certification. Thus, I gained the skills to teach your students effectively.

My teaching method is based on collaborative group learning, speaking a lot with conversational exercises, and grammar drills to improve fluency and accuracy.
Besides which, to incorporate teaching, I plan to utilize my B.A. in music from C.S.U. Fullerton. For example, we could sing jazz chants or analyze grammar tenses in the songs we write and study. Finally, I believe that music can be a tool to create a positive educational environment lowering the “affective filter” of student fear, which occurs privately and publicly.
