I have taught various students this skill from 2020 to this present year on how to be creative with programming. My approach is to majorly simplify programing and their behind coding.
I have a B.A HONS in English and Literary Studies so you'll know I didn't have a foundation in programming but I had to learn it from the scratch my attending a physical programming school, boothcamps, online tutorials and articles.
