About Nova

With 7 years of experience teaching French to high school and college students, I have helped more than 150 learners achieve fluency, confidence, and academic success.

My teaching approach emphasises personalised learning, ensuring each lesson is designed to meet the student’s goals, abilities, and learning style.

I use interactive conversations, multimedia tools, role-playing, and cultural immersion to make lessons practical, engaging, and memorable. My unique skill is simplifying complex grammar and vocabulary, enabling students to understand and apply concepts efficiently and confidently.

I focus on building motivation, confidence, and practical skills, creating a safe and encouraging environment where students feel inspired to explore the language. Lessons are structured to develop all aspects of French—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while keeping learning enjoyable.

Teaching French is my passion. I strive to provide a tailored, interactive, and enriching learning experience, helping students gain fluency, cultural understanding, and a lifelong appreciation for the language.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching French combines structure with real-world application. I begin by building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

Once students understand the basics, I introduce practical case studies such as workplace communication, travel planning, academic discussions, and group presentations.

These real-life examples make lessons engaging and useful. I include problem-solving exercises that encourage students to think independently and speak naturally in French.

Motivation plays a central role in my teaching. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable practising and improving. Integrity guides my professional behaviour, and I always provide clear and sincere feedback. I am flexible and adjust the pace of lessons based on the student’s learning speed and objectives.

Along with French, I can also teach related subjects such as communication development, vocabulary building, writing skills, pronunciation correction, and exam preparation strategies. My aim is to make French learning practical, simple, and effective.
