About Kira
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 9 years of experience teaching students of all ages, including school children, college students, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy centres on creating an encouraging, patient, and creative learning environment where students can develop technical proficiency, musical understanding, and confidence.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve recognition and personal growth. Lessons focus on technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, tailored to each student’s goals. I strive to inspire students to develop discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love for music.

In piano lessons, I focus on technical skill, rhythm, music reading, and creative expression, combining structured exercises with enjoyable pieces to make learning effective and fun.
I maintain open communication, explaining concepts clearly, answering questions, and encouraging students to share their ideas and goals. Supportiveness is at the heart of my teaching—I celebrate achievements, guide students through challenges, and help them gain confidence.
This approach also applies to other subjects I teach, such as music theory, composition, and beginner improvisation. My goal is to create a nurturing environment that fosters both skill and a lifelong passion for music.
