About Jeng
I began studying violin at a young age and received my Bachelor of Music degree from Taipei National University of the Arts. I am currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at Southern Methodist University in the United States. Throughout my studies, I have received rigorous violin training and gained extensive experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral performance. Most importantly, my teachers helped me develop a very solid foundation, which allows me to guide students step by step in posture, bowing, intonation, and overall musicality. I believe that learning the violin is not only about developing technique, but also about self-expression and personal growth. Through patient, encouraging, and structured teaching, my goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy music, and experience the joy of performing on stage.

I was trained by excellent teachers who gave me a very solid foundation in violin playing. Because of this, I understand the importance of correct posture, bowing, and intonation for beginners. In my teaching, I focus on guiding students patiently and carefully, helping them build strong fundamentals step by step. My goal is not only to ensure steady progress, but also to make learning violin enjoyable and confidence-building. I believe that studying the violin is more than developing technique — it is about cultivating musicality and personal growth, and I look forward to supporting students on their musical journey.
