About Susana
I am a qualified accounting professional and SAICA APC candidate with extensive practical experience in accounting, finance, tax, payroll, and audit. I have worked across a wide range of industries and roles, from hands-on finance and payroll processing to managing and reviewing complex audit engagements.
I currently work as an Audit Manager and have progressed through audit clerk to management level, gaining deep exposure to financial statements, tax calculations, payroll reconciliations, compliance, and internal controls. My background also includes several years in operational finance, where I handled day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, payroll, and reporting.
This practical experience allows me to teach accounting and finance in a clear, structured, and real-world way. I focus on helping students and professionals truly understand how things work in practice — not just how to pass exams, but how to apply accounting, tax, and payroll concepts confidently in the workplace.
