About Kahina
I am a dedicated flute tutor with 6 years of experience, having taught over 150 students across all levels. I believe that learning the flute is not just about mastering notes—it’s about discovering your own musical voice. My lessons focus on building strong technical skills such as breath control, tone, finger agility, and rhythm, while also encouraging improvisation and creative expression.
I adapt every lesson to each student’s unique learning style, helping them progress confidently and enjoyably. In addition to technique, I guide students in sight-reading, music theory, and performance preparation, giving them a complete musical foundation.
My goal is to inspire every student to not only play beautifully but to connect emotionally with music, nurturing a lifelong passion for the flute.

I teach flute using a methodology that prioritises adaptation, collaboration, and positivity. By identifying each student’s preferred learning style, I design lessons that maximise understanding and engagement. My goal is to make learning the flute a rewarding experience that balances technical mastery with expressive playing.
Flexibility allows me to modify lesson plans, repertoire, and practice routines to align with each student’s goals and progress. Collaboration is a core element: I involve students in duets, group exercises, and interactive practice sessions to develop ensemble skills, listening ability, and confidence. Positivity is central to my teaching, fostering a motivating environment where students feel encouraged to explore, learn from mistakes, and celebrate achievements.
Alongside flute, I provide instruction in music theory, ear training, rhythm, and sight-reading, offering a well-rounded musical education. This methodology helps students develop technical proficiency, artistic expression, and a deep appreciation for music, preparing them to become confident, versatile, and passionate musicians.
