About Yasmin
I am Yas. I am fun and love being creative with the activities I deliver; tailored to each of my young peoples learning needs. I believe my bubbly personality and warm nature supports each young person in developing confidence and higher self-esteem in their English learning journey. I have the ability to adapt different approaches, suiting the needs of each learner I have been fortunate to work with.
I love my work, and chose to pursue this after working with Refugee children who were faced with devastating trauma, meanwhile adapting to a new country, culture and way of life in general. These children were the main source of translation within the home. I felt inspired and wanted to continue working with young learners to persue their own journey with English.

I believe in building trust with my young learners first. It is a vital part of successful teaching, wherein each young individual feels they are in good hands; feeling their learning needs are being heard and understood.
I will carry out a gentle assessment, so that I know where you are at in your learning journey and I will make an inclusive plan with you and/or your parents.
I believe in being creative and will take an approach to learning that best suits your interests and preferences.
