I've been a passionate reader for my whole life! I'm a driven and reliable Master's student who cares deeply about literacy and critical thinking. I'll be pursuing a PhD after finishing up my Master's, with the hopes of sharing my love of learning with university students as a professor.

I was a long time volunteer at my local library, helping children learn to read. I am well acquainted with phonetics, patience, and helping children choose books they will find interest in. I enjoy getting to know a child's interests before starting lessons, as it helps to encourage literacy when the lessons are centered around things they are passionate about.
