About Jake
I'm Jake, I've personally had enough of aggressive, unfriendly and dry teachers and I like to make sure lessons are low stress and fun. I'm also autistic and am sympathetic towards people with special needs or mental health conditions! I am also inclusive and will use preferred pronouns and terminology if necessary.

I enjoy using conversation, discussion and debate to engage learning. Many people can be overwhelmed by high pressure, heavily structured lessons, I prefer to be directly engaging and flexible, while providing structure when necessary. Furthermore, I like to aim for 45–90 minutes, I am finishing A-levels and can teach most ages as long as it is in a subject and at a level I can successfully teach.
