About Sophie
I have a first class degree in Combined Social Sciences, specialising in Criminology, and a wealth of experience training and managing young people and adults in a retail environment. I am looking to combine my experience of both through tutoring whilst pursuing a career in offender rehabilitation.
I have just begun tutoring hence the discounted rate. However, I do have past experience in mentoring younger family members with their school work (English) which improved their grades significantly and inspired an enhanced interest in learning.

I have a passion for education and I am keen to channel this into dynamic, fun and interesting way of teaching through a tailored one to one approach. I believe learning can "come alive" through well organised sessions planned around the students' strengths and weaknesses, detailed and regular feedback, and enthusiastic and engaging delivery.
I take a pragmatic and well-planned approach to learning, which enables the student to feel in control of their subject matter through a goal-oriented system.
