About Kate
Hiya! I'm Kate, a second year university student with a passion for English. It was my favourite subject in secondary school and I took part in many English related activities such as public speaking competitions and mentoring other students.
Being at university has not deterred my love for the subject, I'm active in many Literature related societies and love discussing writing.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you and help out in any way needed :)

GCSE English
I take time getting to know the level of the student and work from there. Whether it is getting them to think creatively by focusing on different aspects to make up a short story, or taking a piece of literature and learning quotes to apply in certain exam scenarios.
Lessons will be the same amount of time as a typical lesson in school (1-2 hours) to make sure your child is not worn out.
I have previously taught students and was an English mentor in high school, talking to teachers and running help sessions for younger students to boost understanding
