About Daniel
I am immanently about to start a PhD in classics in January at King's College London, having just completed an MA there this year. I graduated with the highest possible grades in all my qualifications (A levels: A*A*A; BA (Hons) First class; MA: Predicted Distinction). I have little person on person teaching experience outside of helping course-mates with work, but did manage a blog teaching classics online which was successful.

I am happy giving lessons at GCSE, A Level, and university level standards. I would normally begin classes with a warm up exercise: going through an easy translation or revising the background of a period of history or a work of literature, before getting to the content of the class. I would characterize myself as rigorous, as I am fully aware of demands of exam boards, but with good humour as I believe that learning requires enjoyment in participating in the field, as well as expanding our horizons to explore different interests and become better scholars, therefore, I may recommend less course relevant material if the student shows an interest, which no doubt helps with any Oxbridge applications.
