About Sophie
I have been teaching individuals, children and adults, as well as companies in London for 20 years. I can teach you at your house or office, and can arrange lessons in a quiet cafe if this is your wish.
I have been teaching French since 1997, and 2000 as a private tutor in London and Kent. I'm a qualified teacher and translator from Westminster University. Passionate about languages, I can advise you on books, learning methods and tips, as she did a language based Baccalaureate (German, English and Spanish) in the 90s, read English and Italian at university. A few trips to Greece led her to learn modern Greek and a love of Japan has triggered her Japanese learning.

My classes are mostly language private classes in your home or office. 1 to 1 or group tuition according to your needs. For example, some couples learn together, that's 2 to 1 tuition. One of our clients organizes a group who learns French in her Central London shop weekly.
I teach teenagers and adults and specialise in exam preparation and Business French.
I cover all levels, from beginners to advanced. 11 and 13+, GCSE, AS/A2, IBAC. University level for languages. Under 11, lessons are organized around games and fun to help the learning.
I have many clients for Business French, English, Spanish and Italian. Also available: Legal French, Medical French.
I also help clients refresh their language skills before an interview or a holiday. Intensive tuition is available. If you are a primary teacher who has to teach a language this year and don't feel confident, call us. A few hours' tuition will make a difference.
- Opening Times
Lessons can be from 8am to 9pm, from Monday to Friday. Weekends: only in case of exams or interview/move the next day(s).
