About Lucy
Hello! My name is Lucy Mnisi, and I am a qualified Foundation Phase Teacher from South Africa with over 10 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with young learners, helping them build strong foundations in literacy, language, and overall academic development.
I am passionate about supporting children in their learning journey and creating a positive, engaging environment where they can grow in confidence and achieve their full potential. My teaching approach is patient, learner-centred, and tailored to each child's individual needs and learning style.
I specialize in teaching English to learners aged 5–10 years, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, reading fluency, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and communication skills. My 40-minute online lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to make learning enjoyable while delivering measurable progress.
As an educator, I believe that every child can succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to learn. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help learners become confident readers, effective communicators, and lifelong learners.
