About Ethan

Teaching has always been something that has interested me greatly. I have taught in a large variety of capacities, coaching both cricket and tennis at all ages up to 18.

I have been an academic tutor for four years. Teaching Philosophy to students at GCSE and A level.

I am a patient, personable, friendly individual. In my lessons, I seek to provide a relaxed environment while also teaching my students to write at an A* level. My general essay writing lessons can also help students improve in all of their other subjects (as essay writing is applicable in many).

About the lesson

There are three fundamental pillars of success when studying Philosophy at GCSE and A level.

1. Essay structure

2. Critical and Analytical thinking

3. Recall of text

I provide a wide variety of the A* quality resources which provide a framework to develop all three of these.

During my lessons, I seek to strike a balance between reviewing and studying materials, as well as cultivating advanced essay writing abilities.
