About Sabrina

I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with over four years of teaching experience and a Master of Arts in Hispanic Studies, specialising in Spanish language and linguistics. I work with school and college students preparing for GCSE, A-Levels, IB Spanish, DELE, and AP Spanish exams. My teaching is structured, clear, and focused on strong academic results. I help students master grammar rules and apply them confidently. Special attention is given to essay writing, organisation of ideas, and accurate expression.

I also train students in effective oral exam strategies, including fluency, pronunciation, and confident responses. Each learner receives a personalised revision plan based on their syllabus and goals. I believe consistency and smart practice lead to success. About the lesson

My teaching approach to Spanish is practical, friendly, and focused on real-life use. I believe language is best learnt by speaking it with confidence, not just memorising rules. I start with clear basics like pronunciation, phonetics, and useful vocabulary. Step by step, we move into everyday conversations used at home, work, travel, and social settings. I teach informal speech, common slang, and modern expressions people actually use. Students also learn how to text naturally in Spanish and understand casual messages.

Reading, writing, and listening are balanced with speaking in every lesson. I create a safe and encouraging space where learners feel comfortable making mistakes and improving. Extra attention is given to building social confidence in new environments. I patiently guide learners adjusting to a new language and culture so they can communicate independently. Lessons are flexible and adapted to personal goals and pace. My aim is to help students feel confident, connected, and successful in Spanish.
