About Amaya
My interest in Spanish developed through a love of languages and cultural exploration. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and Intercultural Studies and begin teaching learners from different backgrounds. Over the last 4 years, I have helped students build practical communication skills and confidence.
I believe successful learning happens when students feel encouraged and supported. My teaching style focuses on creating interactive lessons that combine structure with meaningful communication practice. I enjoy helping learners overcome challenges and celebrate progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading Spanish-language literature, learning about cultural traditions, and exploring educational resources. These experiences bring valuable insight into my lessons. Helping students communicate effectively in Spanish continues to inspire me every day.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students use the language confidently in practical situations. We work on pronunciation, grammar understanding, vocabulary growth, listening development, sentence building, and speaking practice through interactive activities and real-world communication exercises. Every lesson encourages learners to participate actively and build confidence.
As students continue improving, we explore conversational strategies, reading comprehension, cultural topics, verb patterns, listening techniques, and communication skills for travel, study, and everyday life. Lessons are tailored to individual learning goals, ensuring that progress feels relevant and motivating. Consistent support helps students strengthen both fluency and accuracy.
I believe learning Spanish should be enjoyable, useful, and connected to authentic communication. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable expressing themselves while gaining appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures. Every lesson supports growth, confidence, and long-term success.
